Assuming it was fair and there weren't widespread shenanigans, I could. Really, it'd be the best way to keep Hillary from running... that woman's pure evil, Kerry is just an opportunistic goon.

I can accept Kerry not that I think he will be a better President....but because there will be GRIDLOCK and NOTHING will get done....I say hoooray for nothing getting done....

Ohhh and Kerry will hold no surprises....except he'll talk his Utopian ideals and try and move the ship of state to the left, but in the end he will accomplish very little...the system is what it is...and Kerry is well just another body warming the seat....

I think Kerry is about as two-faced as they come! I hope and pray he is not elected!

It will be ht have my rights being taken away from me, or those who are close to me, and then being shipped off to the UN to make decisions about US freedom and security.
Kerry thinks the UN is going to protect us from "Terrorists" .. the only terrorist we need protection from is Kerry

Of course I can accept it. The country isn't going to start circling the drain. It's just that it will be better with Bush at the controls in this time of crazies. With Kerry, the terrorists will start back with the bombing of the embassies and military installations in an effort get the Americans to leave and turn those countries into muslim theocracies.

How anyone can consider approval from the UN as anything other than a horrible idea is beyond me.

Pretty interesting that this thread shows conservatives accepting Kerry where the other thread shows the liberals rejecting the President. Maybe says something about the mentality of the 2 groups.

Honestly, there is something to be said about not having the legislative and executive branches in the same party. Not enough checks and balances. The POTUS can't spend a dime unless congress say OK. Having said that, the liberals will blame the conservatives for any failings of Kerry. You know, not allowing Kerry to move forward with his agenda.

Very interesting results. It has always seemed to me that the Democrats need to grow up and become a bit more mature but it also seems to me that the Conservatives shut the liberals out.

The fact is we're all on the same team - not different ones. More like offensive and defensive parts of a football team. We depend on one another in many forms.

I Was just curious.

Personally I think that if there is more than a 10% difference in the turnout for a candidate it will be hard to argue with. The fact is both parties are guilty of some sort of voter manipulation. The democrats have a history of blatant voter fraud and the republicans have a history of blatant voter intimidation.

I really think we need to work without our parties to honest them up and until that happens we will remain divided, partisan and bitter but the fact is that without both parties things would go too far in one direction or the other.

Tomorrow's going to be a long night.

The fact that we will have a VERY Republican House and Senate will make it easier, but the idea that a guy like Kerry could be the most powerful man in the world saddens me, I wont lie.

Of course I can accept it, as I accept other lamentable or tragic events in my life.

We will have become a country with no more spine or initiative than Belgium or Canada; and we will have shown the soft underbelly of the legendary American grit and resolve at precisely the wrong time in history.

But this is not the most important election of our generation -- 2000 was. We just didn't know it at the time.

Well I will accept it differently than you in most every possible way, not just any particular way. Yet again though, you will have to wait till January to get the details. But rest assured my way is the best way.

Republicans control the houses, so I don't know if I'd even give a rip or if it would matter -
