OBL is waiting for a GW defeat.

OBL wants to show the world his power . .. his power to influence our elections with nothing more than his taped threat of of more 9-11 type attacks.

OBL wants to show the world that he was right, that the "Americans have too weak a stomach to fight"

If Kerry wins, OBL will be clamoring about how the Americans bowed to his demands. This will be another HUGE feather in his cap (so to speak)

OBL will then have the twist needed to show would-be terrorist that HE is the one winning.. . .that Alqeda is blessed by Alah-yadda-yadda.

OBL will then start demands on the US and Kerry.

Kerry will pontificate in response, until OBL hits us hard again, at which point, Kerry will be forced to further pontificate.:rolleyes:

Keep in mind, GW is the symbol of US strength against OBL. OBL's bank-accounts were siezed under GW Bush. OBL's training-camps have been shut-down by US action under GWBush.

OBL is focused on sending the US hate and destruction. His goal in knocking down the power symbol, Bush, is just one step.

Why would he help GWB win with a threatening tape then?

OBL does that Witchdoctor thing. . ..like when they know an eclipse is coming they say"do as I say or I will blot-out the sun"

OBL see's the M Moore effect, the delection (new word) of GW Bush, and so he positions himself to take credit.

All OBL needs to do is scare a couple per hundred with his "I'll only attack states that vote for Bush" crap and there ya go.

Well, the vast majority of the American public doesn't know about the 'states' threat.

And Republican strategists just don't agree with your assessment. This is what they said about the tape:

That's embarrassing. I vote for the mandatory mental health check also. I've seen some opposing viewpoints that made me think here....but that's certainly not one of them.

But at any rate, be sure you help the current administration scare everyone who is "scarable" (another new word). Those are Dubya's potential votes. I'm sure I know a phrase Monty Python would use. "Brave, frightened Americans."

There would be no problem t all if Bush had killed OBL instead of going into Iraq. So, who has to go now ?

We've seen endless Bush PR about 'top al Quaeda leaders' being killed or captured. But AQ operates loosely, in cells... have we really hurt them, organizationally? They've allegedly had a membership growth spurt post-Iraq invasion.

Did anyone ever follow up on all the put option activity and short-selling of airline and other stocks in early September '01? Somebody made miilions based on foreknowledge of 9/11. I read an article a while ago that demonstrated quite clearly that the greatest beneficiary of the put options on airline stocks had been...the US governement. I cant remember how they came to that conclusion, but I could fetch it back from the web if anyone is interrested.

IMO, OBL sees a negotiator in Kerry. The most recent video shows the new and improved OBL who is attempting to position himself as a legitimate political leader...ala Arafat.
