Very very good post. The Democrats have lost their way and have not made very many positive steps in the last several elections.

I was a Democrat when I was younger then as I grew older realized that the idea of "big government" where everything is given to the "downtrodden" and poor just aint gonna work! The poor are in many cases people who do not want to work, even if its handed to them on a silver platter.

Now as a old fart (51) I am a firm Republican. Do I believe everything that Bush does? Hell no, but I also was wearing a US Army uniform in 1971 while I was listening to John Kerry LIE to the US Congress about Viet Nam and the proud American men and women there. Kerry seems to forget this and also forget that he was a commissioned officer at this time. Some small things like giving "aid and comfort to the enemy" that he had forgotten after leaving the Navy early, not to mention leaving his buddies in-country after his bogus purple heart medals.

I also am pro-choice and can live in close proximity with gays, but I do not feel that they should be married. Give them all the rights of a marriage but by God marriage is between a man and a woman, not a man and his sheep, lady and her vibrator and so on and this is where it may end up if we open it up ...

And while on the subject of God, I do not ever remember being in "harms way" and finding anyone who did not believe in God. Let the shelling, bombs falling and so on start and ever person in the area has a little chat with God, and some keep talking to Him until it stops or they are not with us any longer. This country was founded as "one nation under God" and most of us have sworn allegence to this country and its flag AND God at the same time.

If you do not like it then leave and take Susan Saranwrap and all the damm liberal actors with you. I am still ready to pack them up from when they all promised to leave America if Al Gore did not win and every last one of them is still here.

I hate him but James Carvall (almost lower than a snakes belly, or about on the level of Mike Moore) said it correctly when he was on the talk shows recently. The Democrats have lost their direction in life and are not in touch with what their people and the citizens of this great country want and need. The people who voted for Bush may not like everything about him but he stands for what he says, reads the Bible and did not flip flop like the catsup man does on a regular basis.

I am personally afraid of Hilary and her lesbian friends in the White House. Bill and his cigars can be handled but I have known people who have flown her and she will be a problem....

PS in Arizona we are allowed to wear a pistol on our hips, out in the open, just like it was in the old west. Funny how armed robberies and such just do not happen as often around here. OJ does not come here often as a kitchen knife and a .45 auto do not work well together!
