I always wondered if these rich guys that have these cars commissioned watch their car on the show and see all the problems that Boyd's crew run into when doing the task at hand.
I have to agree on all said comments with Chip. He appears to be a straight foward guy that's actually having fun doing his work and getting his hands dirty. It's always nice to see him get a little choked up on Overhaulin' when the "victim's" father gets involved with the process, and the emotional events that ensue between father and son seem to really to tug at him. Nice guy. I really like Overhaulin', love Courtney the host (who has "car cred"), but they really need to revise the way the reveal the car to the owner upon completions. I also wish they would do some European rides; maybe a vintage 911 in the 356 outlaw vein would be cool. I think this would be right up Troy Trepanet's alley (except don't put 22's like they did on Joe Rogan's Cuda). |
i know. these guys take all the fun out of building cool stuff.

I asked one of my teachers at school about Chip Foose the other night since he taught him while he was at Art Center. Said he is a very genuine and cool guy and he is also trying to get him to talk at our car show this coming june. Did you see the size of the engine in Rogan's Cuda? Holy crap its a monster!

A little OT PKid962.....Are you at Art Center now? ID program? For a couple years I have been really toying with going back for ID (currently an Architect), but I don't want to end up desinging doorhandles for the new Windstar. Would love to open up my own shop. How do you like the school? Of course I've got CCS down the street, but I'm itching to get of town. |
