Which intonation of Pliny the Elder shall we recall to be our compass in this vast tempest-tossed sea upon which we are now embarked? (Ok, that's Shakespeare, with a bit of Emma Lazarus thrown in, but like Mr. Vargas from Fast Times said, "I just switched to Sanka, so have a heart.") None.
