Good comfortible chair?????

I use a laptop at home and I cannot get comfortible on a couch while using it. I am considering a "lounge chair". I don't really wany a lazy-boy type monstrosity, but something more modern. Any suggestions? Oh yea, I'm a big sucker, 6'2" 260lbs so I guess that would be a consideration.

Recaro still make that chair from one of their performance seat? That's gotta be nice.

Does that sit at floor level or are the legs cropped for the photo?
I've been looking for some type of floor level chair to sit in while playing gamecube with my daughter; these old bones don't take sitting cross-legged on the floor for very long.

One thing that helps the ergonomics of a lounge-chair is a lap-desk.

Restoration hardware has one that works well. link . . .w/ room for a laptop & mouse.

Here's another idea:

Get a nice multi-position chair like this one. Then get one of these to go with it.

I am torn between the minimalist approach and one more toward the "lounge" range. This will be MY chair in the living room, it will be for casual work/play on the laptop/movies/football/etc.. so it needs to be comfy. I really think I need to go sit in a few this weekend.

That's just the kind of thing I want, that one looks a little small judging by the size of the kid in it though.

What I really want to do it put a flat base on a spare 928 seat that I've got around but that's meeting a little resistance.

Eames chairs are great, we have a cheap knock-off and other than falling apart it has been a great, comfortable chair.

My personal peeve is, I don't want a chair that is so soft and cushiony and laidback and adjustable and stretched-out that it makes the living room look like a bedroom, or an invalid's room. There are some chairs out there that are awesomely comfortable, you could practically live in them, all they need is the IV bottle and catheter. But I don't want to live like I'm bed-ridden. Just give me a chair, a simple chair, that's optimized for people who are sitting, conscious, and alert. When I want to sleep, I'll go to bed.
