Vintage Heuer Cronograph Repairer

Any leads to a reputable shop that can refurb my 60's Heuer 1/100th minute stopwatch?

I got it from my dad years ago and it (finally) stopped working. It has a very high sentimental value..

Over in the 914 board, one the members recently (past year) was certified a master watch (repairer). Do a quick search.

you can also contact this guy: Chuck Maddox. Quite knowledgeable in Heuer/Tag and I'm sure he can point you in the right direction. I contact him each time I track a vintage Heuer to find out more.

Im the watch maker Red Beard is refering to. There is only one guy who deals with vintage Heuer chrono's in the US that has old parts availibility (according to Breitling) If you send the watch to Breitling in Connecticut they will send it back unrepaired. Unfortunately he is an ass and hell to deal with. His name is Mark Heist and he lives in Pennsylvania. I'd be happy to assist you in this matter if you still need help. I can give you some pointers as to what to look for when finding a watchmaker (its a lot like finding a reputable service center for your Porsche)

I got confused. For some reason I thought you had a Breitling...my bad. Vintage Heuers are a bit easier to find parts for than Breitling.
