Probably the post-election litigation warchest that wasn't needed.

If the moon was made out of cheese, bring some wine and crackers and we could have a good time.

Shoulda, coulda, woulda but it did not work out because 51% of the population did not trust Kerry and his party. Better get to work on it now or the next election will be even worse...

Do not worry, the lawyers will figure out a way to suck the war chest dry...

I dunno, Joe. . . . Maybe Kerry didn't really get his message out . . .maybe not everyone heard that he wounded himself 3-TIMES, in Vietnam.

Island,

Agree and I want to see the video again. You know, the one where he was carrying the M16 by the sight mount, the way NO ONE ever carried the weapon. 3 times you say? Glad to know about it... was not sure but if I hear about it another several thousand times it might register.

Course had the race been closer the Bush side could have simply have asked for more funds and the loyal would have donated. I did...

Hillary will become more centralist as time goes on. She has a history of being a floater. If the Dems don't remake themselves she's all they have. [I think if Liberman was nominated he would have won]. Hillary will make sure guys like Liberman will be pushed out within 2yrs. I like the Liebrary act to wash all her future bucks.. and having a permanent staff in training isn't to bad either. The Liebrary Board can spend almost anyway it wants. Bill only has the power to replace them any time he wants. She had the White House staff help her Senate run. Good for her. The unspoken announcement of her running for Pres was very well done. 3 weeks after the Dems are demoralized and she offers herself as someone to believe in, cool. She did all the talk shows and interviews, not Bill. Her current centralist float is in motion. I guess other possible Dem nominations are more scared of her than the Reps.

Let the games begin.

Ron,

We are scared of her and there is a lot of "we" in the country right now.

If the liberals in the country believe that the conservatives mobilized over Kerry, just let us get a hint of Hilary really running for 1600 Penn Ave and I will volunteer my every waking moment, empty my checking account, and do anything needed to defeat her. Kerry did not worry me as much as his ultra liberal wife and Hilary is futher out there than Theresa...

Put John McCain in the running as either a Rep or Demo and he would be a shoe in and a good person in the position to boot!

local Albany political knowledge is to maintain Hillary on a leash. Any time she gives one of her "talks" Rep $ influx jumps. Some shrinks believe she stimulates hate in male Reps & some Dems similar to a bad divorced wife. That's not inside info, it's common NY political knowledge. She flaunts that she was never indited by Starr. Starr's somewhat final presentation is that not enough hard info could be accumulated to Guarantee a conviction. I think there was maybe 10-15 seperate investigatons under the whole Starr umbrella. All of these investigations hard info will make Kerry's 'Nam act look like kindergarden kid fighting imo.

McCain is not the party player. He may be respected for being a believer in his issues, but he's a somewhat independant. I think it's really to early to say which Rep will be nominated.

I think Bush's relentless style will continue to castrate the Dems. If Hillary is in the way she'll be dealt with.. although I believe her handlers know this, so they'll be very very careful to prevent it.
fwiw.. I don't expect much dem stonewalling. Daschle's fall probably scared the $hit out of most of them. The filibuster once had a reasonable place in politics. It's extreme manipulation destroyed it.

This should be a 2 party democracy. The high Clinton Pres support is slowly balancing with the current in-motion low. Overwhelming Wash power by any party is ng. I hope Bush can maintain control over his herd of cats. I figure his mandate will keep them in control or they'll look stupid even thinking about questioning him.

I wonder if there will be Rep flame throwing concerning the Liebary and Hillary's self nomination ?
