News Flash?

This is a repost from another thread, but I thought it worthwhile for all the bashing of neutral/passive countries like NZ, Canada etc by my brethren. What if.....

this just in:

"-Reuters

The Canadian Prime Minister announced today the secret completion of short range nuclear weapons arraingment along the U.S. border.

Apparently long angered at American anti-Canadian sentiment, especially posts in certain automotive BBS's, the Prime Minister announced "no longer will Canada take second or third place in the continent of the Americas". "We will no longer allow ourselves to be be called cowards ever again" he announced in a seperate meeting.
Public news of this anouncement has created public-support marches in most of the major cities.

Yesterday it was revealed that billions of Canadian dollars had been used to secretly purchase the latest Soviet radar systems, SAMs, and anti-aircraft weapondry, and an undetermined amount of Canadian troops had massed along the U.S.-Canadian border.
Also shocking to the world at large was the anouncement that a Canadian-Russian-Chinese mutual aid pact had long been in affect, and that furthur plans included North Korea, Argentina, Syria, and Iran."

Lynn,

What can we do to get the Kiwi's to do this on the East Coast???!!!

Since the prevailing wind blows from the West to the East this time of year the casualties would be much less and the smell would be less, how do we say... baaaaaaaadddd?

THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SECRET! However, some of the details are wrong. Instead of nuclear weapons, the plan was to lob moose apples. Billions of dollars (Can) amounts to about enough to get everyone on the board a cup of coffee (on a slow day, it we go to Tims, not Starbucks) and the "undetermined number" of troops, means a bunch of the guys will be piling into a Chev 1/2 ton on a 'deep penetration' mission to a secret destination. (Alright, its the Playboy Mansion.. good spot for deep penetration) Be afraid. Be very afraid. In response to this, GW. will be flying to Halifax to finally thank the good people of Nova Scotia for the hospitality we extended to thousands of stranded airline passengers on 9/11. Do you want him back? ;-)

Coincidentally, the Canadian threat of launching moose apples soon surfaced after this thread was posted:
