it is kinda bizzare in that the california locations are pretty depressed areas, so maybe the value of stolen cars should be considered. 10 stolen ricer civics might not hold a candle to a high end car stolen in a non top ten city.
just a thought that may have/should been considered.

Country rubes. The real money is in staged "accidents" and no-fault fraud. One hack doctor and a little office space and you can bill millions!

Rick-
Maybe they'll drop the insurance rates around here now that NJ is out of the top 10

Now that New Jersey has begun to reform its insurance regulation, prices should drop some. The bigger problems of medical fraud in New York/New Jersey need to sorted out for further rate reductions. Still, the population density in those areas is going to lead to more accidents in and of itself.
BTW, I love my $50/month rate on my p-car with liability/full comp/collision.

yeah...around here all they steal is ricer civics..and if you live in brooklyn or the bronx they just steal the wheels off your car or the HID headlights. Last time I saw someone trying to steal a Bmw 330ci (2000), they ended up wrecking the car and trying to flee on foot.
The German Shephard chasing him had different idea, and brought him down within a block.

San Diego cars probably make the trip south ( way south ).
I saw a tv program where a MAJORITY of vehicles checked were stolen in South America ( not sure of the area ... anyone ??? ), and they still had the plates on them ![]()
