my woodstove turns even a live tree to a tenderbox. i have determined being warm is better than being jolly, so no tree here either.

i do like what you've done to your bush though...

We're moving into a nerw house on the 20th so we don't have a tree until then. Here is a cell phone pic of the tree at the local Fashion Island. 215ft high!

I've got over 100 of them out back. Why should I bother dragging one in the house? I do try to cut one down each year to celebrate "Earth Day". That good enough?

Just put the outside lights up 2 hours ago, working on the tree tomorrow.

One thing that mine will have that is unusual is that it will be to European specs. Living in Berlin I was mortified to find that most all the Germans use REAL candles on their Christmas trees. Fire and all and you rarely hear of a accidental fire. They are just very careful and do not lite the candles unless someone is in the room.

Found a set of holders on the internet last year and will use them here at home this holidays with real candles. Why be normal... almost everyone else can be but I want to be different!
