My Sony Cybershot has been great. 3 x optical zoom as well, viewfinder and LCD. Memory stick that comes with it is to small so you need to buy a bigger one.

I bought a Fujifilm S3000 at Target for $163 and got the 256mb xd card at Sams for $59. nice little camera for the money.
