Watched King Abdula of Jordan last night on Chris Mathews. He made several interesting points.. When asked if the USA involvement in Iraq was causing more people to sign up to become Terrorists. he said it was the Palesteinian situation that was causing it and if theat problem wer solved ..Terrorism was abate.

It was interesting that he said that all the Arab countries would sign on to a peace agreement between the Palesteinains and the Israelies.....my guess would be that he has talked to all the different leaders, anf that they are ready to "get on with their lives"

Secondly he said that Mulah Sisteny of Iraq is (Shiete muslim) is very pro Iran (obvisouly) ...and might turn the country into an Islamic state...NOw here is what I didn't know before .... the arabs fear the ****es and the expansion of Iranian power in the region...

I also saw that Jodanian interest lies in solving the Pal;esteinian problem, and resolution of the Iraqie conflict., again obvisouly.

Abdula is Sandhurst educated, has an American Stepmother, speaks with an Enfglish accent, is very well informed is savvy in the ways of communicating with the west and has the potential to be the Caliph....

Also I wathed poor Rummy get taken to the wood shed by the military at his town hall meeting with them in Iraq. His answers were not satisfactory, and he used an ole manipulators trick to get them off his back. The whle deal is that the military (generals) never felt they had enough bodies to do the job correctly, and that was why ole Westley Clark ran for Prez. ...to get the military side of the story out...Further Rummy is right you have to fight a war with the Army you have, and some troops are going to get the old equipment. Happens in every war and in every army.

That is all many Palestianians really want is peace. The majority of my dad's family (Palestinian) live in Amman, Jordan after losing everything in the wars between Israel. All they care about is going on with their lives. Both sides are bitter about the lives taken but peace would be the perfect solution and bring the area of Palestine and Israel back to the way it was circa 1900.
