Gruppe B - a strange band of dandies that have more technical chops than a vocational school full of 6 year seniors. They were once thought of as myth, legend, and rumor until pics started showing up. At first they were haunting, almost evil. They soon took on a life of their own. As time went on, many middle-of-the-roaders found themselves craving their descriptions and schematics of the things they would do to P-cars. Nothing was safe - nothing was sacred. Fueled by a relentless hunger for horsepower and an unimaginable low center of gravity, Gruppe B members cut the corners off postcards from the edge and left the pieces in the gaping mouths they created. The things they did were deemed insane, dangerous, and incredibly beautiful.
You may think you are safe – that’s what they want you to think. But beware; someday maybe sooner than you think, you will see a thread that interests you. You will open it up. It may take 2 maybe 5 minutes to download a pic of a 914, a 911 or even, God forbid, a 356! And when you see what they have done, you may feel your spine freeze but you will not be able to stop looking. Then you will read about the up-grades and the performance enhancements and before you know it, you will be cruz’n links for subtle upgrades to your coupe. Be strong Doc! Fight the erg! Keep that little kitten of yours young for as long as you can!
