The tread about a bunch of you getting together In S.F. got me jealous... I actually started thinking maybe I could make it some how...
maybe I could carpool with nostatic, rats, he is riding his bike... maybe I could talk techweenie into taking that sportmatic he is selling for a three day test drive, naw that wouldn't be right... Just not practical to make a S.F. run next week. Okay so how about September? http://www.german-autofest.com/ I know that's two months away but... anyone? Pelican usually has a booth there and Bruce Anderson usually shows up to do a seminar. Lots of good drooling over, cars, new parts sellers, cars, books/posters, cars, swap meet, more cars, etc.

I am not missing it this year. Maybe I can get a group run of Porsches from the OC together.

There have been groups of us that have gone each of the last 3 years (at least I've been at the last 3 years). But I'm out this year. I'll be up at Willow Springs both days.

Wanted to bump this since it's such a great event. Maybe we could have a "live" chat area at the Pelican booth? Anyway, if anybody wants to get together we can plan to meet there or at "Old Vienna" in Ventura for some good German food. Always alot of P-car enthusiasts there after the Fest closes.

Anyone want to step up and make PelicanHead badges?
(Yeah, I know, some of us don't need no steenkin badges, but it would have been nice to acknowledge Fishcop for coming 10K miles.)
