I was just listening to midnight rambler on Get Yer Ya-Yas out. Awesome. That and Gimme Shelter and still the only two songs that give me goosebumps.

I think statistically speaking, Keith Richards was supposed to have died 7 years ago, possibly more. Some doctor analyzed the lifestyles of famous people and when they should or should have already died.

Every 3000 miles he has his blood replaced...ahhh I mean every 6 months....

Anyway the fk O is my hero...as such I have based my on Board persona after his....the Outlaw....

You just had to know there was more to my man of wealth and taste gig than what meets the eye...

My favorite quote of his...When asked if he trains like Jagger does before the RS's go on tour...." Are you fking kidding I just show up with my guitar."

feel the same about Keith Moon - if the greenies didn't get him his double kick would have chewed off his feet. Man that guy had chops!

I can relate to Keith Moon...

He used to live next to Steve McQueen in Malibu...where he would dress up in a Nazi uniform and march up and down in front of McQueens house...as a parody of McQueens role in The Great Escape....so much for McQueen worship...

Keith Moon, owned ten cars but did not have a driving license.
His marching outside McQueen's house in a nazi uniform is hilarious

Gimme Shelter would probably head the list for me...followed by Memo From Turner and most of Beggars Banquet and Let It Bleed albums...those 2 albums are the pinacle of the RS creative career...

One of the absolute best R&R albums and probably best LIVE album ever is Get Yer YA YA's Out...chronicling the tumlteous 1969 concert tour...cumulating in Alta Mont....After listening to that album you can understand why they were the BEST R&R BAND EVER....You hear Jagger howling, growling and seducing the audience with his come hither voice, while Keith Richards and Mick Taylor play off of each other on the guitar being backed on rythem flawlessly by Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts.... the sound was so tight it was like a machine...

So after listening to YA YA's everything else is SLACKER Music with the exception of Jimi in concert..then you might as well open the top of your head to creat some more room for the music to fill...the other guys who could really stomp on it Live an creat a hit of coke effect to the head was Cream (EC, Ginger B and Jack Bruce)....if they couldn't clean out the cobwebs in your mind nothing could..
