I continually find it amazing how venomous, caustic and defensive people can be of a belief system that's supposed to be about openness, compassion, understanding and forgiveness. Ahhh, the hypocracy of the religious wrong. And FWIW, I'm a "recovering Catholic", so I do know a thing or two of Christian teachings / beliefs. I just choose to not agree with it.

I have to say Adrian calling red UFO and "idiot" and then "your an ignorant idiot" does not show off his best Christian values, perhaps it's the stress he is under, but there is a better way to deal with this situation.

From what you wrote Adrian, it seems that there is a part of you which thinks so. If I am wrong, (which I hope I am) then please correct my misperception in a graceful manner.

RANDY P, take a chill pill dude, there was no question to you. However I have to say that I think you have a "rage issue" and should seek professional help ASAP. You can try prayer, but from what I've seen you write, you need something more.

It'd be nice if God would protect us from pain, but he does not. CS Lewis had some remarks along this line that I can agree with. It'd be nice if He just punished the bad guys (and maybe he does, but not here), but He seems to allow pain to befall both good and bad folks. In fact, sometimes it seems he picks on his favorites the most.

In reality, God does not give a flying fuch whether we're comfortable here on Earth, except for the tendency of pain and pleasure to turn our attention toward, or away from, Him. One is very important, the other is (relatively speaking) not.

I think the lord of the flying saucers is trying to "soften up" earth in precaration for the invasion. See if that tin foil hat helps you now!

I say we leave religion and God(s) out of an explaination of tidal waves or Tsunami altogether.

My loved ones believe in me, I have great friends and am respected by my peers, and have what I want out of life. I don't think that's really the issue here. Try to write it off all you want, but your commentary isn't really respected, as seen by the earlier responses in this thread
