FYI, SDI was cooked up by five science fiction writers meeting in the living room of one of their group in So Cal. It's more than bizarre that anybody took the idea seriously, let alone threw so many billions at it.

SDI was about several platforms of defense. Some ground, some space based weapons. One weapon they wanted but hopefully never built shot out about a trillion watts of energy at the target frying it.

Overkill for ICBM but in ball park to buffer overflow a UFO.

In the 50s a crash in NM was recovered with humans (Earth type) inside the ship along with dead greys. The military freaked out because the humans were cut up (like cattle muts to come later). Why would anyone think that SDI would protect us from UFO's? If you assume that there are aliens, and that they want to 'get us' missile defense wouldn't do anything. If 'they' are here then you'd have to assume that they have the ability to travel at at least near-light-speed due to the humongous distances involved. If thats the case then they have the ability to fire a projectile at near-light-speed into the earth, which would probably do alot more damage than a nuclear missile, & would be impossible to intercept.

'Some people say' SDI was really a cover for an alien protection system. It would be sold to the public as missile defense but the platitude of weapons would be overkill. SDI would be a huge money laundrying system for defense contractors.

We have some public systems you'd know about, along with dozens of black systems doing really nasty stuff up there. There was believed a project milistar that secretly flew up nukes and other partical beam systems in space doing the late 80s. These used a new secret high altitude aircraft and piggy backed a smaller version of the shuttle to launch them.

Only now you are seeing these projects come to live in the white world. Watching EDIT: STS-48 (but there are UFOS on STS-80 too!) shuttle mission about 3 times it had a multiple UFO targets in the camera screen with nearly fully automatic energy beams being fired at the targets. During Event #6 the target was hit and broke into 3 pieces by the energy beam.

This was either.

1. UFO vs UFO battle in space
2. UFO shot down by military space systems.
3. US target practice shooting down unknown military UFO systems.

Take your pic but the video is real from NASA and it speaks volumes for those to see in the for what it is. After this missions footage made the rounds, live transmission was cut back to a timed delay (the Janet Jackson booby of UFOlogy)

Even though SDI officially don't exist the US spend a billions in research over 25 years and I'm sure some type of hardware resulted from the effort.

Human Beings are bright little monkeys....after nearly 60 years of having a UFO in their poession, they have been able to pick clean the Alien technology by reverse engineering...
