Look what I found (elusive gasoline eel)
How about a thread about some of the strange things we've found in pre-owned cars???
This was found in my '79 928 today....inside the fuel tank!.... I guess it was a gas-theft gone bad. It's actually 5/8 heater hose (now about 2") roughly 3' long. It was all mushy and slimy, and I had a heck of I time extracting it thru the feul sender opening at the top of the tank.

More like a tapeworm ... now you know where all that gas went.
