Hi Folks,

My website is finally up.

A little bit of information first, The Tsunami has affected a large area of SE Asia and as an individual I have decided to try and do something about it.

I have decided to concentrate on the Sri Lankan crisis, as I can not hope to in this disaster to be a jack off all trades. As a Sri Lankan I have an idea of what is happening both in my own community and by word of mouth. I have links to both information and ways that things are done.

It is not uncommon that in certain areas of the developing world that in any crisis you can almost certainly bet that people will be trying to make a quick buck and profit out of other peoples misery.

So whilst it might seem like a good idea there is a possibility that funds might not be reaching the people and work that need to be done.

The charity that I am collecting for has promised that all moneys collected will go directly to the people and infrastructure that needs it most, regardless of race, ethnicity or religion.

If you have already given money that is fine but be aware that this will be a long uphill struggle.

IF you have given already, consider this. Many of us are blessed to be able not to worry whether the water we drink can kill or make us ill. We generally know were our next meal is, have not lost multiple members or generations of family and friends in an instant. Have access to great free medical care (in the west anyway).

People that this mail is targeting generally have a house, a car, a "PORSCHE" ? possibly 2, holiday every year, put there kids through school and spent a “LOT” of money on Christmas Turkey this year, and then threw a lot of it away.

If you have already given and giving more will cause you serious financial harm then God bless you, your in greater need than these poor souls !

My website is up and will give you details on how to donate. Also I will try and update you on info. There is also a section where I will put up your request for information, people you can not get hold of etc. (This section is for the whole SE Asia area not just Sri Lanka)

I am also willing to shamelessly plug and advertise any group or company who send me there money.
