For anyone who doesn't know... transmission fluid with GUNK (to stop a slow drip)... when um... er.... added to the brake fluid area...

Well, it will.... er... lock up your brakes. Was not a good day. Got new brakes all around though as my father grumbled at my stupidity.

Hey... gotta learn somehow!

Heh heh... and guess what brake fluid does when added to the power steering.

I'm just glad he didn't get to the stage where his buddy tells him to THEN BREAK IT IN.... I could see him starting with a sledgehammer.....

The problem began when he even thought of water in the crank then it got much worse with "Slick Willy 50". I will testify in court that stuff is snake oil and I have no issues proving it. Great marketing though...

Hurray!! Gumby returned and finally posted pics of his project - thus proving he is for real. Check out the original thread and marvel at all of the comments from various car club message boards (including Pelican) giving the thumbs up to the guy. Gumby has become an internet celeb - though he admits to having mixed feelings about it.

Go Gumby, go!! :D:D:D
