This is a message from Peter12 at Pelican Parts Technical BBS ( http://forums.pelicanparts.com/ ). The Pelican Parts Technical BBS owners cannot accept any responsibility for the contents of the email.

To email Peter12, you can use this online form:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/member.php?action=mailform&userid=26237

OR, by email:
mailto:Peter1@bramos.nl

The rest is the same as monkey's msg.

This is the first time I've seen spam through the pp message system... Maybe it'd be useful to only let members send pm/mail after they've made 20 posts or whatever arbitrary number would make sense. Typically, spammers post 5 or 6 messages before the leave or get banned, so I don't think it'd be unreasonable to have a little bit of a probationary type of period. ?

hmm, a little research shows the url is managed by Netwrok Solutions for a company called kimpire limited.

A google on that shows the company is out of Hong Kong and also returns this,

Looks like everyone got the message from a randomly named spammer.

Ban 'em all!

I got the message in the form of an email last night. Spammers ought to be hung by their balls if you ask me. Whatever's going on, it's bogging down the forums here like crazy. I'm on a cable modem and Pelican's responding like a dial up right now . Not good!

I got it twice and entered the rally. Leno's letting me borrow his 1,100 hp Olds Toronado.
