Is that what it is? I recognized it on the shirt, but not the tat, but it never occurred to me that the tat might just be wrong. Wierd.

i'll bet the artist copied the image on transfer paper then wets it and put it on his arm (like the temporary tats) to get an accurate picture for all the outlining of the tat.
that's how mine got done.
seems like a lifelong simple oversight on the tat artists side when it tranfers it's reversed LOL
