Iraq needed fuel. Halliburton Co. was ordered to get it there — quick. So the Houston-based contractor charged the Pentagon $27.5 million to ship $82,100 worth of cooking and heating fuel.

It's cheap and sensational but I gotta do it:
So when one of your parents need surgery, and the insurance company won't cover it (bless their hearts), and you wonder why there isn't a federal program..........

That's probably on top of the 100 million they said Halliburton overcharged the govt. (aka us) for fuel transportation.
....and I get pissed when someone on ebay charges $20 more than true shipping cost (add'l profit) because it's not computed as part of the final bid amount. Potential ebay shippees and taxpayers, beware. Sherwood |
