PCA Regional Newsletter
Need your candid opinions.
Let me know what you guys think of this PCA Chapter news letter. Aside from the usal stabs, what would make this a better read for the local PCA chapter members? Remember - it is all done by volunteers. http://www.pca.org/mav/Newsletter/Newsletter.asp

It's impressive. Better than Metro's Porsche Post, IMHO.
More Bridget Scott would make it cooler, though... ![]() JP

Just downloaded the pdf of the Jan 05 issue.
So far it looks good advertisers stand out. Plenty of photos of the regions members, which I like so I can put a name to a face if I ever run into them. As soon as I look at some of the articles I'll post again. But overall my first impression is that it looks very nice.

Thanks guys - when I took it over I was a bit put back at the number of advertisers we had, but they essentially pay for the publication so they are a needed source of operating revenue. They also do alot for us in many ways that go beyond the call.

Like the barbed wire for your next section too.
And by the looks of it your contributors are many, just make sure they keep that up and your job won't be too hard. Do you have a person assigned just to collect photos for newletters and web, or is it just who takes them sends them in?

Wow! I hate to admit, but your newsletter is far and away more professional looking than our anemic little b&w chesapeake region rag. Can I become a provisional member?

We have about 10 people commited to this - one guy takes race, cover and some gathering shots, another guy is all about the happy hours we do, the prez does his thing, we have two content editors, a guy who is submitting a restoration piece (which is coming to an end), a few DE guys and several "authors at large" that contribute. Also have a member that works at the printer we have and he does final lay out. I'm the idiot that has to tie it all in each month and develop the piece for the printer.
Provisional membership? If you drive your 912 down to Dallas, I'll write an article about you and give you provisional status for sure!
