Ed,
I've had several problems after installed the last group of updates for WinXP Pro. Outlook and IE were not displaying text at all. I'd get an email but with no text. I could browse a website, but no text! I tried the "detect and repair" tool, but it didn't work and I had to completely reload Windows, what a pain!!
