A friend has a new Lotus -
Finding ways to make it much lighter, including a Kevlar fuel tank to shave 20 lbs. Is it possible?? He's gonna try ---

I would think from what I've read, know and have seen at the Ann Arbor Lotus (emmisions) center that the car is light enough. I mean it's engineered to be as light as possible already. So unlike most mass produced cars which could use a diet, the Lotus would probablt benift most from increased HP.
There was a thread in the tech section a couple of months ago about a hill climb event. The Lotus there had twin NOS bottles and other HP mod's. This might be the path to look into......................bang for buck that is.
