It could be a RF transmitter chip that orthadontic suppliers are beginning to put in their custom caps and teeth (for product tracking/orginization of course) -and nope, I'm not making it up.
Some are sensitive to frequencys have complained of fillings picking up radio frequencys and transmitting them through the nearby bone structures-I used to hear the whine of the t.v. being turned on on the other side of the house.
