I'm sorry to people in the Northeast

Yes, I'm sorry. It is my fault we have had two snow storms in one week with another scheduled for Monday night. You see, I bought a Porsche last fall. So it only makes sense that spring will now come as late as possible. I can probably make it rain, too. That should wash out all of those nasty autocrosses and DE events I plan on attending.

I don't mind the snow but I am waiting for sand and salt free roads.

I like the snow when I'm doing this:

Otherwise, it is more of a pain as I get older. (I have to shovel, I worry about leaks in my roof, I can't drive the P-car)

Here in mid-Missouri a typical winter. Snowed about an inch yesterday, but sunny and 60 degrees here today.

Got a little cloud cover this morning, but for the past few weeks Seatle has been what only Seattle can be. Sunshine, mountains, water.....We've got trees blooming and bulb flowers blooming. Shirtsleeve weather. There is no more wonderful city, or more beautiful place, when weather cooperates here.

Oh, and one more COMPLETELY off topic remark that just doesn't deserve its own thread.....Today is going to be a really cool day at work. Labor relations sometimes includes bringing troublesome issues and relationships to a head, and that will happen today. Should be interesting. Plus, we're looking at a crew of guys who have to remove some nuts from some bolts. Sounds easy? It's two million bolts, with nuts that need to be removed. this crew can do 9,000 per day. It'll take more than two hundred days.

It's actually my fault. I put VictoRacers worn down to slicks back on the Targa this past weekend.

Ah-ha! Shaun ruined it for the rest of us!

One day I'll have to tell the story of how I went to Pittsburgh to look at the Miata I eventually bought during the Presidents Day storm two years ago. Or how I picked up the 911 as Hurricane Ivan was blasting through my area. I bought the car in Lancaster, PA and drove home to NY in it.

I'm hoping it will rain on Monday (not snow) and wash away the snow and salt on the ground here.

I'm in Hartsdale, just south of White Plains. I work in NYC, and I like the area.

BTW, what is a 73 Aga Blue GT3-S?

PCA class track car 3.2 - 3.4L.

It's been a project for a year now. Made huge progress last spring, then started G9Girl, now getting back into it, but the snow is killing me (I have to work on the street here in Cambridge)

Aga Blue was 66-67 factory color. I found this on eBay and fell in love with the color.

If you decide you can't bear parking on the street, you could leave it in my driveway. After you put in the 3.4 engine, of course! Beautiful car!
