i bumbled around in a nismo 400r. had a time of 8.20.633

I tried the Options Stream 350Z. What a load of BS that car is. 770hp and it wont even turn no matter what I did to the car. I managed a 7.48.233 when it stayed on the ground. Top speed of like 211mph

I know I can get below 6:30.XXX in the Renault. It's a fast little bugger. Next I'll buy the Yellow Bird and see how fast I can go.

Yo i wanna see a video of that!!!! Gives me something to base my driving off of. Ive only made like 5-6 full laps around the course, I dont know it all that well and Ive been lenient about really pushing the 400R. I just upgraded the turbos and did some more suspension work. She handles real nice, but Im still sorting her out. The 964 is next on the list to purchase and try out. I won the 350z GT LM edition car, so Im going to give that one a go

carl I hate to rain on your parade....but....

I just went 6'20.660

350Z GT limited edition. Threw on a set of super soft tires, and 143 miles later I finally had the course down pat.

My hands are shaking so bad at the moment its hard to type. The adrenaline is making my heart jump out of my chest

LOL thats what it took me...a few hours. I started over so many times I started to improve my speeds in the first 1/4 of the track, watching my exit speeds and looking for areas to keep the speed up.

That first long stretch that will launch your car airborne was tricky for me. I had to hit it just right or I was in the wall. The second straight that went down and came back up before the 3rd and 2nd gear turns I kept botching too. I would apex too late and put myself in the wall. At +160mph somewhere upstairs in 6th gear coming up the hill there isnt much time to make decisions. Just keep looking ahead to where you want your car to be.

My thumbs hurt.

Adam... Tire tech sucked in the 70's. The DTM TT I've got has NOx and a huge turbo on it. You can probably add 20 sec for life or death fear that doesn't exist w/ a video game. I WISH this game had the slew of awesome plastic bodied Porsche prototypes from the late 60's until the 936. 908/3 would be my favorite.

Sweet ass guys! I ran like a 6:40 and was stunned by how "fast forward the thing is! I mean it's totally unrealistic at that point. I was bouncing off of walls and launching in the air........ Are you guys running it so smooth you never go off track?

On my 5'55" run I only left the road once and it was in a lucky place. I just bought a Caterham Fireblade and did 100% of the upgrades and it isn't nearly as fast at the DTM TT. Oh well. I'll have to post a video. One of my friends can grab it. Does anyone have some space to post it?
