Vonzipper,

I'm coming after your son.

Unless he's gone much faster!

Interesting, that screen shot shows you only have 788HP, with some mods you may be down in the 4's.

My Minolta has 1228hp.

You need an oil change, stage 4 turbo and some nitrous, Carl!

Do you guys notice how the cars lose power as the oil gets dirty? You've gotta do an oil change before any mods as it seems to magically release some extra horsepower. My M3CSL picked up almost 20hp with an oil change when it was brand new...

It took me a few aborted laps to get used to the extra power. Adjusting ingrained braking points when taking a corner 20mph faster is tough!

Vonzipper, I'm sure your son has gone faster?

I've got nothing new since. My gf and I went on a trip through Europe and somehow we ended up at the 'ring. Here are some pictures:

Last time I went was summer 2003. This game is very good teaching you left and right. I had forgotten just how much elevation change there is. The game cannot represent that. Video shot at the track can't represent that as well. However this is the best training tool for this ring if any of you get the chance to go.

We stayed at Slider's Guesthouse for the three days that we were there. I told the owner that I had been practicing on GT4 and had gotten my lap times into the low 5 minute mark. Immediately he started warning me that many people had come with good GT4 times only to be freaked out on the track. He said two kids my age showed up w/ a new STI and left the track with pieces of it and an expensive Armco bill!

I had an Audi TT this time which was fun in the Saturday rain. Oh I also met up with k9handler and have him a lap in the TT. He said his 15X6's combined with the 3.6 were lacking in the rain!

Spec car is a great idea. How about The BTR, in arcade mode, with the soft sport tires?

For those of you with the GT4 steering wheel, what settings to you put it at. I keep on trying to use the wheel, but my times are horrible compared to the controller.
