How, is being married to duh-bya a form of punishment?

rcecale 02-28-2005 05:00 PM

Yeah, sure...whatever you say. You're just boring the hell outta me with your senseless whining. As cmccuist ever so eloquently stated, "Kerry lost the election".
Deal with it, will ya?

I wasn't talking about kerry, but you and a couple other people apparantly are.

I didn't know that criticising the president was not allowed between elections.

rcecale 02-28-2005 05:48 PM

Keep talking...I'm with ya...really!

It did, but mention of a bumper sticker in the first post bumped it to politics. I don't know, I've seen some fairly derelict driving due to cell phone calls conducted within the confines of "Kerry for President" stickered Volvo station wagons.

So basically, republicans can be bad drivers, and democrats can be bad drivers... big deal. The only reason I put that bit about the sticker in my post is because... I don't know, maybe I have a little bit of an instigator in me :D

That's cool, as long as you aren't chasing down a pickup with a gun rack in the cab.

There is NO one with a Saturn that voted for the President.

I had some idiots harrassing me and my family on the highway one day. As they say "I was just driving along..." but I really was just driving along in the right lane at my usual 72-75 mph cruise setting. Some kids pull up next to me (I'm in a minivan remember)and start making obscene gestures, laughing, and generally driving like as*holes. By that I mean reckless and certainly a danger to other motorists-possible alcohol/drug involvement. They speed off at a high rate. I call 911 and get "permission" to pick up my pace to clock their speed and see where they're going. Once I report 90 the cops tell me to back off and they'll handle it. Sure enough, a cruiser speeds past me like I'm standing still, and pulls the *****heads over. Very gratifying.

Let's see...calling 911 (hope it was a hands-free), getting permission to play Deputy Dad (highly unlikely), and chasing the obviously crazed perpretrators, with your family on board, in a minivan, at 90 mph? IF this is true, you were a bigger danger to others and your family then those kids were. When was the last time you tried an emergency maneuver in a populated minivan at 90 mph?

Just a thought.

Refer to this thread for your solution:

We can do without those two votes if we have to............
How's that for instigation????

I was wondering how long it would take for the second guessers to crawl out from under their rocks:). What took you so long?

Re: the permission-I was surprised too. I wasn't chasing. They asked me how fast they were going. I paced them up to 90 and was then told to back off. Would I lie to impress you? Not likely.

Re: 90 in a minivan. I don't know where you live, but if I'm going 75 during my commute, I'm getting passed all morning. I routinely cruise along at 80-85 and somehow, in the 20 years I've driven minivans, I've managed to not have one accident OR get a speeding ticket. A short creep up to 90 is child's play in a minivan. In this case it was me and the "crazed perp(no "r")etrators"-no one else.

Re: emergency manuevers. Now try very hard to envision an Interstate. Usually 4-6 lanes wide, straight, and generally in good shape with excellent visibility. Unless a plane crashed in front of me, emergency manuevers are not likely. A deer? Guess what Einstein-you don't swerve to avoid them.

Thanks for playing.

I see why you're such an angry little man, Sebring...you've been driving minivans for 20 years! :D

And yes, I do know how to spell perpetrator, but thanks anyway.

Lighten up, Francis.

First a condescending dick tells me I'm a liar and a danger to others on the highway. Then he tells me to "lighten up". LOL.

Trust me on this-I was laughing at both posts you made.

Should we bump into each other at a PCA event, please remind me of what a "little man" I am. We can laugh about that too.SmileWavy

dafischer 03-05-2005 02:33 PM

Well, you've certainly told me. Let's see, second guesser, live under a rock, Einstein, condescending dick...yup, pretty much covered it all!

Glad I gave you a laugh...you sound like a fun guy.

Have a nice life.
