Looking good, Blue. Gotta love the old Troubleheads. What are the details on the motor? Displacement, cam, induction, exhaust, etc? Harley cases or S&S; that kind of thing.

Can't wait to see it! What kind of range will it have? I know it's not important but I always wonder about that kind of thing.

That's the secret about rigids...small tank = many stops = lots of rest breaks.

I'm confused. Where's your wife gonna sit? On the couch at home?

Yep...on the couch! She's averaged 15 minutes of pillion time each year since 1998. Back when we were in school she rode with me all the time, but nowadays it doesn't seem to be worth the effort to make allowances for a passenger. If she has a burning desire to go for a ride with me (yeah, right!), we can still take the Honda, I guess....

To answer your earlier question in a less tongue-in-cheek tone, the tank is 3.3 gallons and I should be able to get 40 MPG or so.

You're scaring me. I gave up bikes many moons ago upon military entrance. After that, I got married and didn't have the desire to get back on one too bad (too many crazy sport-bike-east-Tennessee-mountain-runs). Then a couple years ago, I went on the Indian Iron Horse run to Payson with some buddies. Now, yer putting that thing together and I keep feeling a "tapping" on my shoulder. I look and it's the bike memories letting me know how much fun it was. Sheesh, the wifes gonna punch me in the kisser if she reads this!
