Do you know any pilots in the SF bay area?

Hi,
I'm doing a career project for 10th grade English, and as my career, I choose a pilot. I need info on the career, the education required, etc. I also need 2 signed interviews with someone that has my choosen career. In this case, a pilot. It could be any type of pilot (airline, private, cargo, etc), or anyone who's career is an airplane pilot.
If anyone here could hook me up with a pilot that they know, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!

We have a couple of pilots available on the board here. In fact three or four here in Southern California but San Francisco area is a little more difficult. If email interviews etc will work, some of the guys may be able to help.

Check out the EAA Young Eagles program:
http://www.youngeagles.org/default.asp
Maybe you could do your interview while sitting in the cockpit of a plane!

Thank you for all of the responses,
Stevepaa, I e-mailed you.
Vash, that would be neat if I could contact your friend who is a photographer. Does he also fly the airplane? Is he around the bay area? According to my grading sheet, I need the interview dated, timed, and signed, so it would have to be in person.
LeeH, I will look into that Young Eagles link that you gave me. Isn't your wife a pilot?

Thank you again!

If you are interested in a military pilots perspective, I'm available by email at morganps@direcway.com
I am also the Program Manager for all Naval Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAV's) and can provide that perspective as well.

Will they be using handwriting analysis for the grading process?

Matt,

Am on the board of a national group of pilots, mostly flying old WW2 stuff.

What are you looking for? I do it for a living and fun... fun is a lot more enjoyable but both are better than working!

Yes. She's a CRJ (Canadair Regional Jet) captain at Skywest Airlines. Skywest is a contract carrier for Delta and United. She was the one who suggested the Young Eagles program.
