Is anyone else having a problem with the Turbo Tax software?!?

I'm about to kill somebody - this is so frustrating.

There is some bug in the program that causes it to go into an endless loop when you try to download the updates. You can't complete the return with downloading the update.

All e-mails to Turbo Tax go unanswered. There doesn't appear to be any telephone number to call.

Anyone else have this problem?

Haven't had the problem but I'm not done with my taxes yet. You could try uninstalling, use adaware, check for viruses, defrag and reinstall. Try someone elses CD to install next.

Could their server be down or overloaded? Maybe try tomorrow? Or, has this been an on-going issue?

When I first loaded it on my system, 3 weeks ago, I had no problem updating. But, I need to update again before I complete...

I was able to e-file the other day without any updating issues i.e. the updates downloaded fine. I did however make a few corrections to the return that did not seem to "take" and I think it submitted the uncorrected info. Fortunately the glitch was pretty benign and may go un-noticed (wishful thinking), but it was a bit disconcerting.

There may be an issue with your ISP connection, such as a proxy server that you need to enable/disable in TurboTax?

Is there a way to manually download the updates (i.e., in a .zip file) instead of using their automagic self-installer?

I've had problems with the past two versions of TurboTax updating. They did update when I installed, but if I try to run the update right before filing it hangs, so I just don't do that.
