Prefer an HK MP5 myself or a Kimber .45 auto for close range work.

Actually, maybe your not a left winger, you just think the French know what's really going on in the world. Take this in jest, I'm not interested in a flaming war. ![]()

Maybe you're onto something - the French can still surrender with nice weapons in their hands...

Dunno, AKs had that nice "take anything including beach sand in the reciever while firing" feel, but some days you just end up being in a FAL mood no matter what...

Looks like the French are reduced to only using PLAY GUNS....
As far as the Kalshi goes...50,000,000 owners can't be wrong.... And aren't we being wanbe snobs....HK, Galil and FN....He11 if you boyz really wanted to play the game..try a SIG.... But I guess I am dealing with the mentality of Porsche owners here Oh Well I still love you all anyway....

Sig makes nice pistols, but I'm not familiar wiht their rifle offerings. Of course, its been about 10 years since I looked at anything...
Tabs, isn'tVegas like the Class III capital of the world or something?

I wouldn't say snobs. After all is the Kalashnikov the grand daddy of em all? I'd take that as a compliment.

The GW43, M1 Garand, M1 Carbines were the Daddys to the Kalshi...
There are alot of automatic weapon owners here in NV. BTW: The LV Dealer for the Arsenal Kalshi's has no problem selling them...they practically fly off the shelf. He sold four of the model I showed in less than a week...

Yeah, who needs all this fancy stuff? Give me a good old lever gun and I'll keep up with anyone with one of these.

id10t,
I had the priviledge of firing off around 250 rounds each with amongst other, an STG58 and an M16, a couple of years ago. The ST really made an impression - extremely well balanced, very little recoil. Loved it! The finish (stainless steel and chrome in this case) was also superb, and it was obviously not built by "the lowest bidder". One has to give it to the Kalashnikov though - they are cheep, no nonsense, reliable, and a hoot to shoot with. Can be taken apart in virtually no time, has few moving parts, and as an additional bonus, is idiot proof too! Did I mention lethal as all hell? Have a friend who got shot up in Angola badly about 20 years ago. He took six hits, and the scars are enough to make you realize that you don't want to be on the receiving end... They are abundant here in Africa, and can be had for very little money, if only you know where to look. There was a time, during the Mozambiquan civil war, when they could be bought (a bag of ammo included!) on the cross-border black market for as little as $5, or even some food! I read an article once that AK47s are so abundant that there is one for every ten people on earth. Regards! Willem Fick

You can get a Robinson Armament VEPR for less than half that! For your same $1300 you can get 6 Saigas, or almost 4 Romanian SAR-1s. Better yet, just buy one SAR and enough ammo to last a lifetime! |

All the guns I mentioned were predessors of the Kalshi...i...the kalshi was designed in response to these other weapons...

Nut busting your nut...just want to have my history straight. Was the Kalshi designed in response to the others or was it's design influenced by the design of the others? I see the AK-47 as more of a relative to the Kalshi but not to a M1 Garand.
