No, again you didn't read the article. The note got out to the Democrats because Martinez (supposedly) didn't read it before handing it to a Democrat.
I think, based on nothing more than politician stereotypes, that he handed the wrong bit of paper over (rather than not having read it). Mind you, maybe having briefing notes that don't get read is a Republican trait ![]()

It might be the truth...it might not. He is, after all, a politician.

Is fint even aware that Yushchenko has gone against bush by pulling his country's troops out of iraq?

Clearly that is not the case. Yushchenko made a campaign promise that he had to keep. Bush backed him anyways..because it was the right thing to do....even though Yushchenko had proimised to pull the troops...while his opponent promised to keep them there. Yushchenko has stated that he will leave a presence in Iraq and that he is flexible regarding the withdrawal timetable.
Both men have shown a great deal of character.

Yushchenko is in a different position than the previous leader. To be elected in spite of the fears of the populace...he had to support the popular issues. This was one of them. He has no choice but to follow through. his position is still tenuous.
In Iraq...As the new Iraqi leadership is in place and the country is calming...I expect many more leaders will begin to withdraw troops. They can promise to do it this year (for political purposes at home)...and still leave them there for almost another year (political purposes in Washington). Other politicians from countries that did not support the war will soon take "assistance" be in Iraq...under the guise of....now it is working with the Iraqi people...not the US.
