WiFi Question
I have a wireless router at home. Sometimes I have a problem connecting, but the computer will connect to something called "Wireless Unsecured computer to computer network". I don't think it''s the neighbors (though I sometimes pick up thier routers). What the heck am I supposedly connecting to? Not like I can get that to do anything....
Thanks

Do you have an ESSID or name or any other kind of identifier? Are you using any kind of encryption for your setup? Is it safe to assume you're running Windows?

ITs what is known as an ad-hoc network. No central point, just computer to computer. Probably one of your neighbors, or your computer is being "helpful" and creaing the ad-hoc network since there is no available AP.
