Make sure you back those files up somewhere!
I read a news story about a woman who assaulted her boyfriend because he screwed up her Ipod. She was upset because she had downloaded hundreds of songs to it... but didn't save them anywhere else. One reason I love my HiMD player. If the player gets messed up, new player, same media.

Well the data is on the ipod, on my primary HDD and my backup HDD so it would take a fire or such like to kill them all and if that happened i think i would have bigger issues to worry about.

Backing up is a great thing.
I bought a 3.5" external harddrive recently and threw a 120GB drive in it. I only have about 12GB of MP3s, but I back up other stuff to it. I also have most of that stuff on my 'server' box.
