For those who watched....
Great race. Sure wish I would have slapped that $2 Superfecta bet down, since guessing the first four horses paid 1.7million dollars.

You mean there is a race at the Derby? Huh, learn something new every day. Every time I went, all I remember was lots of good looking college girls showing their chests. Well, that's when I can remember what I did there. After finishing the fifth I snuck in and several mint juleps I usually didn't remember too much. I killed lots of brain cells at that track. Fun times!

With all honesty, and respect to fans of horse racing...
Im confused as to the actual meaning of horse racing. I've never been to one, never watched one and never betted on one. Is it a legitamate sport? Or simply gambling? |

I am at the Derby. One of my airplanes is flying Jerry Moss, the owner of the winner. His flight attendant bet $100. on his horse 'because Mr. Moss has good karma." His good karma netted her $5500.
Wish my karma had been that good.

Being a noob about horse racing, how do you determine what the payout would be for a specific bet, post-race?
The wife put $10 on the winning horse...what's the payoff?
