This one had me thinking....
Which one would you rather been seen with? tseck Junior Member Registered: Aug 2004 Location: N. Florida Posts: 24 Man thats a sweet 930. Only one problem with red. It's like walking down main street with Salma Hayek in a bikini. Draws WAY too much attention.......Maybe thats a good thing? Nice 79 turbos are hard to find, and this looks like a very nice one. __________________ TSeck 94 3.6 PCar 01 Audi S4 Report this post to a moderator | IP: Logged 12-29-2004 11:46 AM Halm Green Skull 003 Registered: Jan 2002 Location: Davidson, NC Posts: 1124 "Bump" for a good looking car and great ad. I have exchanged several emails with Paul and he knows what he is selling. It is clearly worth a look if you want a '79 930. __________________ Hal Michael 1970 911 2.7 Targa Report this post to a moderator | IP: Logged 12-31-2004 06:24 PM Jim Richards Welcome to the machine Registered: Nov 2001 Location: Potomac Falls, VA Posts: 3701 quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Originally posted by tseck walking down main street with Salma Hayek in a bikini. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ummm, uhhh, yeah...so, what was the ad for? another free bump __________________ Jim Aubergine '73 911E Sunroof Coupe MFIWD / GruppeB #911 2.4E --> 2.7RS engine project just getting underway Report this post to a moderator | IP: Logged 12-31-2004 06:27 PM

After examining both sets of pictures in detail, I have to say I'd take the Turbo. I like blondes, and my (blonde) wife would prefer having the Turbo show up in the garage rather than SH. Not that she'd be thrilled about either one...

Prefer the 930.
It only makes noise when I want it to.

If I could keep SH in the garage, take her for a spin whenever I wanted, make her stand in random scenic places for pictures, and modify her at my whim, I'd consider taking her over that 930.

The red 930 w/ chrome wheels needs a driver w/ parachute pants and a Members Only jacket sporting a mullet, or maybe the Fabio, *I can't believe it's not butter*, look. "Porsche and a pony tail".
Actually saw a white slant nose cabriolet the other day and thought, "That's Hot". We're due for a Miami Vice revival, w/ the movie coming out, dude was just ahead of the curve I'm guessing. ![]() As for SH, she's cute but still a midget. A cute midget, but if we're dreaming here, let's make the girl taller. ![]()

Salma. For her performance potential, though I am sure the 930 would be far more reliable. And WAY cheaper.

At least she is going out with Matt C now and with a real guy for a change. JoeA PS would still take the car. You can always find women but you rarely find a 930 like that one!
