Michigan Drivers - This Saturday's Run May 14th
I've known about this run for sometime now, looks like possible rain - so I'm sending the word out to let you know it's still on. Cheers George/kach22i.
Hi Everyone, Just a reminder, Chuck Freitas has planned another fun Spring Breakfast Run for our club. Please contact Chuck if you wish to attend this event. The drive went fine, little to cool to take the targa top off, but my engine loved the temps.
No rain. No sunshine. Over a dozen cars showed up, many wives (mine included) acting as navigators/map readers. I'll post a couple of pictures when I get back to the office and download my digital camera. There is a run on June 5th by another Porsche group - will post it soon. I missed track day (driver's trainng) in Waterford last Tuesday...........don't want to put the car in one of those until I get it sorted out a little more.

Glad the run went well for you guys. The RSR guys are a fun group of folks.
It rained like a sonofabit#$ here in Flint most of the day. Spent the day detailing my Mom's car for her while she was shopping with my wife. Maybe tomorrow the weather will be better for a drive.

I'm glad you had a good drive and the weather cooperated. We had alot of rain and I had to paint all day, so the rain didn't bother me but my builder was finishing the trim on the house and installing gutters, so he wasn't too happy...

Here are the pictures, with a liittle architecture thrown in just for kicks.
Things I learned; the older the Porsche, the more attention it gets. Also the organizer of the event regretted not planning a large empty parking lot for photo opportunities, pics are from a pit-stop/ potty break mid-way through the morning drive.

We didn't get to go on Saturday, but we went to Milford for the "Shine and Dine" at the 5 Lakes Grill. The owner/chef is a PCA member and opened the restaurant for us. We had 52 Porsches in the parking lot and had an unbelievable dinner!!!!

Some pics from last Sunday...
Here are a few pitiful pics from last Sunday's PCA event in Milford, MI. The day was cloudy and dreary but 52 cars were there. Many of the cars, including the Carrera GT left before I got out to the parking lot and took some pics.
