9:00 A.M. this morning, the big baby update

I find out today if our second and final child is first healthy and normal, but also if it's a boy or a girl(ultrasound)

I am going to need to mental energy of the group to not only assure the health, but if necessary....grow a stick on the lil fella

It's not that I don't like little girls, in fact a big part of me would like a lil girl and I know my wife would love a daughter as well especially since we already have such a perfect son. It's that I don't want to go to jail in 15-16 years when I have to kill her boyfriends

So you see, it's not me being chauvinist or selfish, I just want to be able to care for my family and that will be hard from a cold cell. Thank in advance!!

Our first is a girl, the second a boy. The difference is sorta like winning 20 million in the lottery and wining 21 million inthe lottery.

As long as tehy are happy and healthy, it really doesn't matter.

Won't be an issue. I typically clean both my guns and my shovel on the front porch from 6pm to 9pm...

My wife is talking about having another. Our little guy is 18 months and INTO EVERYTHING. Do you mind my asking how old you are? I'm 38 and wondering about having another. Not so much the health aspect but the sanity aspect.

I am 31, wife turns 30 on the first Hayden is 16 months now, so we are similar there. This WILL be a big adjustment, my wife is the greatest mom ever. She amazes me how much enthusiasm and time and energy she puts into raising Hayden. The bottom line is that there isn't enough time in the day for her to double those same efforts. Time for daddy to get more involved

That's great though as Hayden has reached the point where he's a riot to play with so that will be my "duty".
I......how you say?......SUCK with babies! It's not that I don't like them, I just don't feel natural at all caring for them. It's like the situation is uncomfortable for both of us if you know what I mean. And on the contrary, my wife is an absolute natural. I think it's suppose to be that way

We just had our 5th girl...wife and I are both 40....I lost my sanity when #3 came along. But seriously, no problems...just gotta keep things in perspective...kids are great! We currently negotiating on #6, I think I can get a 993 out of it

Congrats! Hay, if it was/is a girl, maybe she will turn out like my 17yr old who punishes her boyfriends endlessly. They are left a quivering mass of jelly when she gets done. Poor bastids never stand a chance...
