How do you change your user name?

I joined this forum many years ago when I was going through a divorce so thought this username would be a good one. Well, I gotten on with my life and now would like to change it to vwtopia because I am known for that in other forums. I could just resign up but then it would look like I was new and haven't posted much (although compared to some I haven't posted much). Is there a way to change your user name without loosing the other stuff.
Thanks,
Kevin

With 14 posts, I'd just get another name and let this one die....

One must ask why the sudden need to change user names?

Did you finally shoot her?

Don't feel bad, shootmyex. My user name was the license plate on the 911 until this year. I have debated changing mine but probably won't.
Too many use names of "Porscha" or variants already which is my new plate..

I have an ex, too. Didn't shoot her, though. The three kids from different fathers pretty much makes up for anything I could have done. WOOHOO!!!!!!

I'd really like mine to read "BlueSkyMarxist".

I've had mine changed, but at the time I had well over 1500 posts and my old name was "l33t9eek" which did (and does) feel a little childish for a porsche board. I just PM'ed wayne, but I expect that z-man would be a better person since he's an admin as well and probably not as busy as wayne. With 14 posts just reregister

Funny, I was considering changing my name from "Porsche virgin" to something else, considering that I actually HAVE a P-car now!

You could be like the guy in this thread & just create a few usernames to 'talk' with each other:
Where did the C4 go?

l33t9eek was leet for "leet geek" I ran a game server for a year or two and that was my designated name on the server since I ran it. Still a geek but don't play many online games anymore.

I was Zeke914, but when the race car went away, I asked Wayne to change it. No lost posts, but if you go back far enough, my posts of the time still show that name but with the current signiture.

Cool Chick is too well known. When CC gets on a thread, the angels take notice, the dogs stop barking, Tabs wakes up and Mark Wilsons fingers tremble with delight.

Eliminating it would be the end of an era - The End of History and the Last Man!
