Don't know about Dago but I think Wop was short for without passport and the original redneck was directed at the Irish - hense the signs popular years and years ago "Rednecks Need Not Apply".

Tabs,
I thought I gave you my opinion. Don't use the derogatory term.

Is the term, "*********" too strong? Nothing personal. Maybe there's a PC term for that too. If so, maybe Zman will allow it's use on the forum.

Sherwood

Oh Dear me Sherwood....When I describe you as being prissy Sherwood it is used as an adjective....when you use the term ********* to describe me...you use it as a noun....if U don't know those are 2 wholly different contexts...in other words as much as you vocally disdain prejudice, you are in fact prejudiced....

heh heh.... yeah, that's what I want to do..... go all the way to Vegas and then have..... wait for it....... DIM SUM! Yeah, that's it! Forget all the semi-famous chefs creating their cuisine, or even the all American staple of good beef.... no, when I'm there I want DIM SUM.

what's more important, when I got a large Chinatown area (SanFran or NY) that's when I want a great steakhouse recommendation. I *always* crave a burger in such places

Dave,

My boss likes Pizza and steak. We were in New Orleans recently and just were in hog heaven. We wanted to take a bath in the cajun gumbo and took a gallon of the stuff home with us. My mouth starts watering right now thinking of how good it tasted!

Got back on the plane heading home and asked him what he did? He went out in NO and had pizza... Some people have no idea what they are missing!

that is exactly what I'm talking about.... what causes that? I mean, you can have pizza *anywhere*; are you really going to crave it in a city known for all the other culinary offerings?

I'm sure we all know places where they specialize in great pizzas, with unusual ingredients, tons of choices, etc.... that's probably not the time to crave French/Cajun cuisine...

this one was pretty memorable

pho is vietnamese noodle soup. should be cheap as hell too, and the typical bowl is large enough to wash your face in.

edit: too slow. dave has it. the "whatever" statement is dead on. some random cow stuff/parts. but you can order anyway you want.

On a separate note, I had the understanding that Asians were not big fans of diary products, mostly cheese. Is that true?
