Hello there, I wanted to start contributing to the forum, I'm going to try to post a picture of my 71 911 Targa. Ive been working on the sheetmetal for the last six years and finally have that portion of the restoration completed. I look forward to making contributions to this fantastic forum

Hi Rick, I wanted to start on the off topic first for this test. Now that I see how easy it is, I'll start a thread tomorrow and I'll include lots of pictures of the before, during, and after of the repairs I've done.

Westy, it's pretty bare isn't it.
In the picture what I have done is made a chassis jig that I can lower the tub onto to aid in the installation of a full front suspension pan, the type that goes all the way up and over the steering rack and attaches to the front floor pan. Also in that repair it included both longitudnals, gussets, and the tank supports. I'll send more on a later thread. But the car was a complete and running car when I started and I've bought a lot of cool things for through the years, including some items from wayne.

Hi all, just another test at posting a picture in the middle of a thread and a check on picture size. This is of my car just before starting the restoration.
