Ben: Oh, no, Mrs. Robinson. I think, I think you're the most attractive of all my parents' friends. I mean that. I find you desirable, but I, for God's sake, can you imagine my parents? Can you imagine what they would say if they just saw us in this room here right now?
Mrs. Robinson: What would they say? Ben: I have no idea Mrs. Robinson, but for god's sake, they brought me up, they made a good life for me and I think they deserve better than this. I think they deserve a little better than jumping into bed with the partner's wife. Mrs. Robinson: Are you afraid of me? Ben: Oh, no. You're missing the point. Look. Maybe we could do something else together. Mrs. Robinson, would you like to go to a movie?

Just saw this and sad to see. Sorry to see all the great old actors/actresses going. Still remember the movie and the Alfa even though its been 30 years now...

I didn't realize that she was married to Mel Brooks. Does anyone know how long?
I just can't help but think that Paul and Art could give her a truly meaningful sendoff...

Married 49 years...
This appears to be a Hollywood marriage that really worked. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,158856,00.html

Mrs. Robinson:
*the original MILF* There were so many other great roles she played, it kind of galled her that Mrs. Robinson seemed to be the one she was most remembered for. When I found out she was married to Mel Brooks many years ago, my opinion of Mell Brooks increased greatly. Very cool lady.

The tunnel that Hoffman drives through on his way to Santa Barbara is in the NORTH bound land and not the South bound lane as depicted in the movie...
The Church in the movie was in La Verne, CA not in SB....the outside stair case didn't exist in real life... The Berkley scenes were film at USC And I loved Norman Fell as the Landlord..(later Mr Roper)...Your not an outside agiatator are U." And when Mr Robinson calls Hoffman Scum....Fell says, "I want you outa here."

Yeah, she was disappointed that her role in Mrs. Robinson overshadowed her work in The Miracle Worker.
She's one of only 15 who've won an Oscar, and Emmy and a Tony.

I think they also used that church in Wayne's World II, and then superimposed a reflection of it across the street (for the First Presbyterian Church, Second Presbyterian Church gag).
