Targa Conversions???
 
I have seen all kinds of kits to convert Porsches and I have wondered if kits are made to convert a Targa to a coupe. The bad part would be the weight....right? The good part would be the low cost of the initial project car considering the lower value of Targas...right?

Sorta kinda almost. I will be shipping fiberglass hardtops in the near future.

Looks nice! Bet it is a lot of work to get to this point in a project like this!

Keep us informed, would be interested in one. Will it fit a Targa or does the rollbar have to be removed? Really like having the rollbar in the car for safety reasons.

Yes - I've been working on it since December.

The targa roll bar has to go, but it's not like the market is bereft of solutions. This top fits like a cab top, so the angles are completely different; you would have to do at least a partial cab conversion (weld in the mounts) in order to be able to use it.
