Seems like a new trend of taking a perfectly good Porsche and pulling the engine and tranny out of it and then listing everything separately on eBay is happening. There are about 5 out there now. I have a rusted car for sale that I hate to part out because it is complete but am told I could get what I want and more if I part it out. I can understand the need to part out a vehicle every now and then but it looks to me that this is a growing trend, Hate to see it but I guess some people are just interested in the almighty dollar and not a numbers matching complete car. Just my 2 cents.

That will change in a few years, as the subject cars get rarer and rarer. Heck, 15 years ago Jim @ EASY was crushing 356s that weren't even parts cars. Today, those same cars he was crushing as junk are worth $15-30k as just a basic starting point for an open car project.
Heck, if I had the $$, I'd buy a few acres in Arizona/NM (no humidity), build a few pole barns, and start buying early/mid-80s 944s, 911s, 928s. And lots of "NOS" parts. And then sit on them for 20 years or so.
