PCI wireless g for older Macs
If you've got a G4 tower and are tired of AirPort .b speeds and wish you could go to .g, get one of these:
http://www.buffalotech.com/wireless/products/airstation/WLI2PCIG54.html It says they're only for PCs, but don't let that fool you! Just plug it into any PCI slot and since it's a Broadcom chip-based wireless card, the Mac automatically sees it as an AirPort device. I'm running 10.3.9 and I'm guessing you've got to at least have 10.2. there's no set-up whatsoever, just plug the card in. We've got a Belkin Pre-N router for the office and the .b cards wouldn't pick up the signal. Not a big fan of cables and the main printer is on a wireless print server for both PCs and Macs, so this card is a lifesaver.
